Terms for selling your device to GSM
Version 2026-09-27-v1
I confirm that I own this device or am authorized to sell it, that it is fully paid off, with no outstanding debt, financing or lease payments, free of liens and third-party rights, and that it is not stolen or reported lost. I accept GSM’s purchase terms.
Ownership and authority to sell
You must be an adult and own the device or have the owner’s authorization to sell it. The identity, model and condition information you provide must be accurate.
Fully paid devices with no third-party rights
GSM only accepts fully paid devices: no outstanding financing balances, installment or lease payments, liens, security interests or other third-party rights. We do not accept stolen devices or devices reported lost. A carrier lock does not, by itself, mean that a device has an unpaid balance. If you cannot confirm these requirements, do not submit the request or ship the device; contact GSM before proceeding. We may request proof of ownership and payment and decline the purchase if these cannot be verified.
Valuation and inspection
Your quote is based on your answers and is subject to inspection and the device matching its stated condition. Automatic quotes are valid for 72 hours. A request for a manual assessment is not a purchase offer. If the offer changes after inspection, we will communicate it to you for confirmation before completing the purchase.
Personal data and activation locks
Before handing over the device, back up and remove your personal data, accounts and activation locks, such as Find My iPhone. If damage prevents this, tell GSM before handing it over.
Shipping and acceptance
If you choose shipping, its cost is displayed for your acceptance before the label is created and is deducted from the final payment. Requesting a quote does not complete the sale or, by itself, transfer ownership. We store your acceptance, the terms version, language and date with your request. A seller’s declaration does not extinguish any rights a third party may have in the device.
